Peptide generation

Proteolytic digestions can be carried out on protein both in solution and in-gel slices. Prior to proteolytic digest proteins will be reduced and alkylated with TCEP (tris(2-carboxyethyl)phosphine) and iodoacetamide.

Nano LCMSMS capability

Using a Waters nanoAcquity ultra pressure liquid chromatography system, in-line nanospray ionization, and a Thermo Deca XP+ ion trap mass spectrometer, our nano LCMSMS setup can give the customer robust peptide identification from samples containing 100 fmols of material.

Using the latest version of the Discoverer 1.0 (replaced Sequest) peptide and protein assignment software and our years of experience assigning peptide spectra, Martin-Protean can provide careful and thorough protein assigment from the peptide spectra generated from your samples.
